30-Minute MediCupping Session — $30 Through November

Prefer a session devoted specifically to MediCupping?

Schedule a 30-minute MediCupping session for $30 through November (normally $50).

During a 30-minute session, your therapist can typically focus on 1–2 areas.

What Is MediCupping?

MediCupping uses specialized cups and gentle suction to lift the skin and underlying soft tissue.

Think of it as a “reverse massage.” Traditional massage applies pressure into the muscles, while cupping gently lifts and separates the tissues. This different approach may help your therapist address areas of muscular tension, tightness and restricted movement.

MediCupping may be a great option if you experience tight or sore muscles, areas of restricted movement, or simply want another approach to complement your massage and recovery routine.

MediCupping vs. Traditional Cupping

Traditional cupping often uses stationary cups that create suction in one location.

With MediCupping, gentle suction is also used, but the therapist can move the cups over the skin, creating a massage-like treatment.

The moving cups allow the therapist to work over a larger area and address areas of soft-tissue tightness and restriction. The amount of suction can be adjusted based on the individual and the area being treated.

Who May Benefit from MediCupping?

MediCupping may be worth considering for people experiencing:

  • Muscle tightness and tension — including the neck, shoulders, back, hips and legs

  • Restricted or stiff areas — where muscles and connective tissue feel tight or difficult to move

  • Muscular aches and soreness associated with tension or overuse

  • Post-workout muscle soreness and fatigue

  • Soft-tissue restrictions around appropriately healed scar tissue

  • Limited mobility or flexibility related to soft-tissue tightness

  • Stress-related muscle tension, particularly in the neck, shoulders and back

  • A preference for an alternative to deep pressure, since MediCupping approaches the tissues differently than traditional deep-tissue massage

Your Massage Therapist can discuss whether MediCupping is appropriate for you and how it might be incorporated into your session.
