Donna began practicing yoga in 2009 following a devastating medical diagnosis. Through pranayama, asana, mindfulness, meditation, and ayurvedic dietary changes, her transformation began. The next year Donna completed her 200-hour training at Divine Light Yoga in Annapolis, Maryland. Since then, she has taught across a number of states in a variety of settings - always looking to expand access to yoga. In 2020, she completed a 300-hour training through My Vinyasa. She holds the RYT500 designation and plans to continue training to become a yoga therapist.
Donna relishes engaging with others in community and one-on-one practices of Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Gentle, Chair, Vinyasa, Meditation/Mindfulness and introductory practices for adults and children. She weaves her knowledge of breathwork, mindfulness and meditation into “on-the-mat” experiences that may be replicated off the mat to find hope, health and happiness.
