Certified Pilates Instructor
Certified Personal Trainer
“I enjoy helping people gain more fun and satisfaction in their lives by improving their quality of life through physical movement.”
Sharon describes: “I have a passion for helping people that stems from overcoming my own physical challenges. I know what it is like to lose 70 pounds. And, I’ve recovered from years of a painful condition by never giving up.”
Sharon has many years of experience in a variety of modalities. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Colorado Technical University with a BSBA-MKT. She began her career in Recreation alongside Rehabilitation Programs at Courage Center, Gillette Children’s Hospital, and Fairview Riverside Medical Center. Additionally, she led the high-demand hospital Therapeutic Pool Department at Metropolitan Medical Center.
She then shifted her focus from pool-based work to non-pool based focus and became a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. She began to do Pilates for her own workouts and really loved what that brought to her, it was the missing piece she needed in her body and she wanted to share it with others so she then obtained her comprehensive classical certification from PEAK. She blends influences of other trained Masters like Jennifer Kries who feel movement engages the whole person in many ways.
She enjoys helping people become their own success story. Sharon’s philosophy is a personalized exercise approach and enjoys pulling from many different modalities to blend when needed for the clients. She believes in heavily focusing on Core Strengthening through Pilates to help reduce risk of injury; increase endurance through cardiovascular exercises; and emphasizing corrective strength training to optimize daily function.
Sharon and her husband live in Anoka are happily married for over 25 years. For enjoyment, Sharon likes hiking trails, kayaking, boating, as well as gardening and playing board games.
