Jess received her B.S. degree in Exercise Science and a minor in coaching from St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul in 2007. She has worked as a Personal Trainer since 2007 and a Pilates instructor since 2014 completing the Balance Body program certification. Also, she holds accredited certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Training, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist and NETA certifications in Pilates Reformer, Group Exercise and Yoga.

Jess’ interest in fitness started at an early age when medical professionals told her that she would never be an athlete or participate in sports due to a childhood illness. At an early age, she worked diligently, participating in dance and tennis to improve her balance and coordination. Her love of fitness grew and so did her success. She was determined to succeed, and with the help of others, she achieved the ranking of #1 varsity singles player at her high school together with success in both singles and doubles at the collegiate level.

As a career, personal training was the perfect fit as it was a way to pay it forward and help others achieve their own goals. Her strengths are her passion, dedication, drive, work ethic and ability to develop comprehensive individualized programs for clients of all fitness levels, abilities and ages. She is a motivator and believes everyone can achieve personal success!

Jess enjoys exercising, playing tennis, snowmobiling, four wheeling and being outdoors. She also loves to travel and spending time with family and friends.
