With a life-long passion for fitness, Terisa received her accreditation from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2016 as a Certified Personal Trainer. She began to work with clients and experience a deeper understanding of the transformational effects of exercise and had a determination to know more and went on to earn more certifications. She earned her Corrective Exercise (NASM) certification. After taking her first few Pilates classes in 2017, she became intrigued by the hallmarks central to Pilates: the mind/body connection, core strength and breath awareness. Her passion developed as she learned and experienced first-hand the additional benefits of the movements including postural alignment, spinal mobility and full body strength and she earned her Certification in Pilates through Balanced Body in 2018.

Since 2016, she has been helping clients reach a wide variety of short- and long-term fitness goals, her focus and joy comes from helping clients of all fitness levels, to not only reach goals they never thought possible, but also to help them live and move more effectively and functionally in their daily lives. She brings compassion, understanding and down-to-earth approach to clients to feel supported, encouraged and confident. She also enjoys teaching small group classes, she knows no two bodies are alike and is mindful of each client’s strengths, goals and challenges while keeping classes fun and interesting.
