Yoga is experiencing the connection between the body, the breath, and the mind; if you can breathe, you can practice yoga.   When Lacie walked into a yoga class and experienced this for the first time, she knew she found the right path.   She wanted to share her passion with others and earned her 230-RYT Yoga Alliance Certification at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis.  To further expand her knowledge of the body and mind, she traveled to Rishikesh, India where she earned her 500 RYT in Hatha Yoga under teacher Krishna Sikhwal.  She is certified in Curvy Yoga.  She has a deep interest in meditation and has studied meditation with Krishna Sikhwal, Maria Toso, and extensively in Buddhist traditions in the Minneapolis community.

 

Lacie teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Curvy Yoga and Yin Yoga with an emphasis on alignment and mental focus.  Her classes have flowing sequences that open and strengthen the body.    She makes herself available to each student, helping them to safely and mindfully create openness and grounding in their body and in their yoga practice.  She creates a safe space for meditation and exploration, in the hopes that students leave feeling refreshed and present as they walk back into their daily lives.

 

She enjoys doing private yoga sessions with individuals to focus on their specific goals.  Lacie has such a wide range of training that she can customize each session to the clients individual needs and interests.
