Lacie has been practicing yoga for almost 10 years and has been teaching since she earned her 230-RYT Yoga Alliance Certification at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis in 2015.  To deepen her practice, she traveled to Rishikesh, India where she earned her 500 RYT in Hatha Yoga under teacher Krishna Sikhwal.  Since, she has become certified in Curvy Yoga through Anna Guest-Jelley and has attended Yin yoga trainings with Michelle Fitzpatrick-Wegner and Paulie Zink.  She has a deep interest in meditation and has studied meditation with Maria Toso, Steve Armstrong, and Kamala Masters, as well as at centers in the Minneapolis community.  She has attended virtual trainings from teachers such as Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.


Lacie’s philosophy is that the true benefit of yoga lies in experiencing the link between the body, the mind, and the breath.  If you can breathe you can practice yoga.  She teaches Hatha, Vinyasa, Curvy, and Yin styles with an emphasis on alignment and mental focus.  Her classes have flowing sequences that open and strengthen the body.  She makes herself available to each student, helping them to safely and mindfully create openness and grounding in their body.  She creates a safe space for meditation and exploration, in the hopes that students leave feeling refreshed and present as they walk back into their daily lives.


To further help people find strength and balance in their body, she became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, attended Tom Meyer’s course on Structural Integration, and became trained in Active Isolated Stretching.  Lacie completed the STOTT Pilates Reformer Training.  She enjoys doing private sessions with individuals to focus on their specific goals.  Lacie has a wide range of training so she is able to customize each session to each client’s individual needs and interests.
