Colleen earned her Master of Science Degree in Applied Exercise Science through Concordia University Chicago. She has worked as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor for over 20 years. She holds accredited Personal Training certifications through American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and Group Fitness Instructor and specialty certifications in Yoga through NETA. Colleen also is a Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher and is working toward her Yoga Alliance 500 Hour Registry. Colleen has worked in various fitness settings over the years and is a Presenter and Continuing Education provider for Trainers for National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA). Her goal is to help clients enhance their health through exercise and education. She adds variety to client programs by incorporating a variety of exercise formats that best fit the client's goals. She is passionate about teaching yoga classes and has experience in teaching a variety of formats and is able to offer modifications to make sure each person has a personalized class experience.
