Alex has been teaching fitness classes since 2012 and has loved every moment. She believes that you can never become bored from moving the body and is committed to leading positive, fun and uplifting workouts that inspire people to see the joy of movement and the importance of whole life wellbeing. Alex graduated from the University of Minnesota where she studied dance and other movement principles based in strong understanding of anatomy and somatics as well as release techniques for the body. 

 

She has completed the Balanced Body Pilates Training on all Pilates apparatuses.

 

Alex has always seeking additional knowledge in a wide variety of specialties.   She has training in yoga, TRX, kettlebells, barre, and age specific fitness programming for people ages 55+. She believes in consistent training, reading and growing and will be constantly incorporating new findings into her classes and private sessions

 

She has learned so much from her travels and the communities she has interacted with. These experiences have greatly influenced her understanding of wellness and movement practices of the body. In addition to dancing and traveling, Alex loves spending time with family and friends, cooking and being near a body of water.
